I’m reading an article from FACES magazine. It’s about how far physical beauty can take you?
Here said that a study conducted by University of California researchers, found that good looking people take home 12% moolah that the average looking one. Here’s more, New York Time article in 2005 wrote that taller people earn an extra US$789 per added inch. An obese woman brought home about 17% less than slimmer one.
That being said, sort of put the unlucky one in the unfair position, aight. Well, include me too I ain’t that tall either. Put yourself as an hr manager interviewing a position to be a young exec. You have two resume with equivalence qualification. One looks like Scarlett Johansson, but the other one look like ekkk, female version of 50cent. Of course she picks the ‘Scarlett Johansson’. When I was doing my internship, the other boss said to me sarcastically, “Aain, tak de ke intern hot skit”. He was kidding, but theres truth in that, if I had to choose, if I am a marketing manager especially, I rather choose a A- Hugh Jackman rather than an A scorer geek in the beauty and the geek. With shallow and stereotype thinking of people will listen to him while he talks and he looks confident he can do the job.
pp/s: saya ada satu lagi paper, mumumumu, benci.

It's true that physical beauty is important. I read somewhere that even babies respond better to attractive faces.
Not everyone is born beautiful, but I guess some effort in personal grooming helps. Tips, anyone? =)
